Hotel Al Mascaron Ridente Venice

During our trip to Venice, we stayed at the hotel Al Mascaron Ridente. Basically it is a very charming but simple hotel, which is perfect for a short city trip.

The Hotel Al Mascaron Ridente ***

The Hotel Al Mascaron Ridente is a relatively new hotel in Venice. Is is located in the Cannaregio District and only 450 meters away from the Grand Canal. It is situated a little bit outside of the tourist masses and is perfect for a sightseeing trip in Venice.

The Room

All the rooms are decorated in a modern way but with a touch of old Venetian style, which makes them really special. The only thing that I missed, is to look out a window or to step on a balcony, because the window was located so high, that you can’t really reached it.

But all the rooms are air-conditioned which is really needed in Venetian summers.

The Breakfast room

I really fell in love with the breakfast room. First, you have a look directly on a canal and second, they have installed a small part out of glass in the floor, so you can sit basically on the canal!

The Service

I was absolutely amazed by the people in the reception, which are willing to help you really with anything. They will inform you about all the main attractions, restaurants, public transports etc.
