Let’s be honest, when you think of Copenhagen, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the Little Mermaid. Sure, it’s the city’s most visited statue and an iconic symbol of Denmark’s capital. But Copenhagen has so much more to offer than just a famous bronze sculpture. From charming neighborhoods and vibrant food markets to impressive royal palaces and a buzzing bike culture, this Scandinavian gem is full of surprises waiting to be explored.
As we planned our trip to Copenhagen, Yannick immediately thought about visiting Hamburg. I never went there and so this was quickly decided. We plan to stay there for just one night as we wanted to drive to Copenhagen. Now I can say that one night in Hamburg is definitely not enough to discover this really nice city.
Have you ever thought about Santa’s reindeers? Well I have, and so it was absolutely amazing to be able to see them also in real life. I was quite excited to even book this amazing experience. It was again Sorrisniva who made this experience possible. At the beginning we had booked the tour in the morning but unfortunately they had to cancel this an the only option left was to do the tour in the evening. Thanks to North Adventure, who made this evening tour possible.
Have you ever heard about the most northern point of the European continent? It is located in the Northern part of Norway and it is really exciting to discover the North Cape. Even if it has become really touristic, it is a unique experience and everyone fascinated by traveling and nature should make their way up there.
During the road trip through Norway, we also had the chance to observe the Northern Lights for the second time in Honningsvåg. I already explained the phenomena of the Aurora Borealis in Northern Lights in Iceland and I talked about them in Alta – the city of Northern Lights.
Honningsvåg is for most people the starting point to explore the North Cape. But it is also a good spot to see the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.
